Cross Correlate Temp and CH4
Notes:
The correlation of CH4 levels and temperature shows an even stronger correlation of future CH4 levels to past temperatures. In this plot, cyan is the correlation of CH4 levels to future temperatures and red is the correlation of CH4 levels to past temperatures. The peak correlation is much later in time than the peak correlation between temperature and future CO2 levels. This indicates that the delay between temperature changes and CH4 changes is larger than the delay from temperature changes to changes in CO2 concentrations.
